📌 Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Expense Tracker ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

💡 Description of Service

Expense Tracker is a personal finance management application that allows you to:

• Track and categorize personal expenses
• Set and monitor monthly budgets
• Scan receipts using your device camera
• View spending analytics and insights
• Export expense data as CSV files

👤 User Accounts

To use the App, you must create an account using your email address or sign in via Google or Apple. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete information during registration
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

✅ Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated systems to access the App (bots, scrapers, etc.)

📊 Your Data

You retain ownership of all financial data you enter into the App. We do not claim ownership of your expense records, categories, budgets, or any other content you create.

You can export or delete your data at any time. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our servers.

💰 Pricing

Expense Tracker is currently offered as a free application with no in-app purchases or subscription fees. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future, but any existing free features at the time of introduction will remain free.

⚠️ Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

• We do not guarantee the App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• The App is not a substitute for professional financial, tax, or accounting advice
• We are not responsible for any financial decisions made based on data in the App
• Receipt scanning accuracy depends on image quality and may not always be correct

🔒 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Naveen Vuppula and Expense Tracker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the App.

🚫 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete Account). We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.

📝 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
